The BookTEKsup>®</sup 4V2 Semiautomatic book scanner digitizes documents up to DIN A2+ size, such as books, magazines, posters, folders, or bound documents of all kinds, at high speed and with a maximum resolution of 600 dpi.

In addition to the standard V-shaped book cradle, which allows books to be scanned gently at a 120-degree angle, there is another optional solution that makes the BookTEK^® 4V2 Semiautomatic book scanner very flexible. The unique, self-balancing book cradle solution allows books to be scanned flat at a 180-degree angle. Switching between the two glass plates is child's play, requires no tools, and can be done in a minute. The book cradle itself does not need to be replaced, as it can be locked in both the V-shaped and flat positions.

The V-shaped book cradle enables virtually distortion-free scanning while protecting the book binding. The balanced design allows for fatigue-free working without exertion.

The motor-driven V-shaped glass plate can be moved horizontally for precise positioning in the book fold. If necessary, the V-shaped glass plate can be removed without tools and with a few simple steps.

Furthermore, the BookTEK^® 4 Semiautomatic can also be used with third-party applications via the optionally available TWAIN driver.
